Ok, I have a little time so I will tell you what we have been up to. We woke up early Friday morning, about 3am, couldn't sleep. We went up on the deck upstairs to be romantic, and after about 15 minutes we noticed a big fire in the sky, and it wasn't because we are so hot. :) We decided to check it out and this is what we found. We found out later that it is sugar cane that is burning, that is how they harvest it.
This is my first blog. I want to record my trip to Hawaii and add lots of pictures and I might even try to add a video or two if I can figure out how to use all the bells and whistles on my camera. The last time I was in Hawaii was in 1986 and that was Oahu and Maui, but I've never been to the Big Island. Please use the comments to communicate. Thanks.
That was two years ago. I recently met someone and we decided to go to Maui. He was there a few years ago, I was there about 25 years ago! So it's all new to me. We leave on July 22. When it gets closer I will be putting more things on this blog
